David King Earns Gwinnett Chamber Award Nomination
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: First In Restoration Owner Nominated for Gwinnett Chamber Honor
David King, founder of First In Restoration, has been nominated for the Gwinnett Chamber of Commerce’s Veteran Owned Business Excellence Award, an honor that celebrates the bold, resilient and visionary leaders who drive the business community forward.
The winners will be announced at the annual Business Excellence Awards presented by Piedmont Eastside on Nov. 19. The winner will be someone who served our country and exemplifies what it means to be a veteran-owned business owner, demonstrating pride in their service and entrepreneurship.
“I am beyond honored to be nominated for the Veteran Owned Business Excellence Award,” King said. “Our company tries to represent the values that make our military so great. In my case, my service in the U.S. Marine Corps has been the foundation of everything we do. This just reinforces the idea that our business is pointed in the right direction and is doing things the right way.”
King served in the United States Marine Corps with HMLA-733, a Huey and Cobra attack helicopter squadron. His military service helped shape the leadership, discipline and commitment to service that he has carried throughout his career.
Today, King leads First In Restoration, a full-service restoration company serving homeowners, businesses and multifamily properties throughout Metro Atlanta and surrounding communities. King’s company provides water, fire and mold restoration, along with emergency response, reconstruction and other property restoration services.
Under King’s leadership, First In Restoration has built its approach around responding quickly, communicating clearly and helping property owners navigate the restoration process from the initial damage through recovery.
